You can convince yourself that a big bowl of noodles, or a meatlovers pizza is the superfood to get you through the next 4 hours of study, but you’re not fooling anyone. Snacks and small meals are the best way to get through a study sessions. Let us give you some food tips that will accelerate your learning and retention so you can stop staring at a computer screen. Specifically, we’ll give you the 7 foods to improve brain function.
These seven foods will help memory, improve your focus, and increase your retention. Best of all they taste great!
- Dark Chocolate. For those of you who swear by chocolate, yes it actually does help you study more effectively. Dark chocolate contains epicatechin, that helps boost concentration!
- Nuts. Walnuts, pistachios, almonds, brazils and pecans have high levels of Vit E, B6, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, and antioxidants, that are proven to improve overall brain function. Consuming nuts also produces high levels of satisfaction, meaning you won’t want to eat too soon afterwards.
- Fish. The kings here are Salmon and Tuna (other cold water fish too). Full of Omega-3 fatty acids to boost energy, enhance learning ability, improve problem-solving skills and jolt memory power and enhance the bonds between brain cells.
